Job Description

HireArt is looking to hire a Customer Service Representative - Business Products to work on-site at our client’s Menlo Park or San Diego office on a contract basis. In this role, you’ll provide outstanding customer service and troubleshooting support for clients that are helping beta test a new tablet product for small businesses.

You’ll work directly with a group of business customers to ensure their questions are answered and their issues are resolved, and gather feedback to facilitate understanding of how businesses are using the product and what their roadblocks are. 

We’re seeking a Customer Service Representative that has a passion for and experience with innovative tech products and ensuring a positive user experience. You’re highly motivated, able to think quickly and clearly to resolve issues, and are comfortable managing your work independently as well as contributing to a team environment to improve workflows and achieve goals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor tablet alerts and communicate with businesses to keep in-store tablets live. 
  • Resolve disputes or issues with a particular customer or order. 
  • Resolve technical issues with tablets. 
  • Field questions and provide clarification on weekly payments and reports, co-ordinating with the Payments teams to ensure businesses are being paid. 
  • Receive contractors’ payment related questions and triage resolution with the Product team. 
  • Conduct menu and catalogue updates, ensure menus are up to date, and fix any issues. 
  • Maintain app pages, and frequently audit page accuracy and fix any issues with information on pages. 
  • Aggregate customer and product feedback and provide reports to internal teams. 
Requirements
  • Previous experience in high-touch customer service
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Tech savvy and adept at learning new applications and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly motivated and hard-working
  • Comfortable working independently and with a team
  • Familiarity with Facebook and Instagram
  • College coursework or degree preferred

Commitment: This is a 3-month contract.
