Job Description

HireArt is looking to hire a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to work on-site at Via’s New York City office on a contract basis. In this role, you’ll support teams in data management, document review, and identifying ways to improve data processes.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), 3-month contract position that will extend from the beginning of January through the end of March. We’re seeking candidates with experience in data entry and maintenance as well as in managing sensitive information. Strong attention to detail and a high level of organization are also key.


  • Maintain and audit data integrity. 
  • Review documents for accuracy and clarity. 
  • Answer database questions and reconcile systems of record.
  • Determine best possible ways to streamline current processes, and identify solutions to either speed up or automate manual processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong experience in data entry and maintenance
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion with sensitive data
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Experience in document or content review a plus
  • Experience with Workday or Greenhouse software a plus
