Job Description

HireArt is helping the world’s largest social network hire an Online Operations Associate to act as direct support on its processes, improvements, and internal/external initiatives.

The ideal candidate has experience working in a research lab and a background as an operations and/or executive assistant with advanced organizational skills.

As an Online Operations Associate, you will:
  • File and retrieve corporate records, documents, and reports.
  • Research data to prepare documents for review and presentation by boards of directors, committees, and executives.
  • Use various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
  • Perform, organise, and streamline operational tasks across various departments to reduce the risk for potential errors.
  • Work on tasks concerned with pricing, sales, production and/or distribution.
  • Monitor for problems and act when required or escalate to the operations manager when needed.
  • Perform action activities that are associated with the production of the products the company offers.
  • Handle problems in a calm and collected manner, even when under pressure.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, or related field (candidates with relevant experience will also be considered)
  • 3+ years proven experience as an executive assistant, operations associate, or other relevant administrative support experience
  • Experience working in a research lab
  • In-depth understanding of the entire MS Office suite
  • Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
  • Professional-level verbal and written communications skills

Commitment:This is a full-time (40 hours per week), 12-month contract position (with the potential for extension or conversion) staffed via HireArt and based in Seattle, WA. It will be fully remote until offices reopen and is available to candidates local to the Seattle area.
