Job Description

HireArt is looking to hire a Design Specialist to work on-site at our client’s San Francisco office on a contract basis. In this role, you’ll evaluate online home listings against specific home design criteria, and provide feedback to owners/hosts to improve home quality.  An ideal candidate is an effective and empathetic communicator with a strong eye for design and detail. 


  • Evaluate home listings against design criteria.
  • Communicate via email or phone to answer general program questions and offer guidance on interior design. 
  • Provide feedback to broader team to help improve overall processes. 
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Education and/or professional experience in design (Interior design, Graphic Design, Visual Merchandising, or similar) 
  • 2+ years work experience in an operations or support role 
  • Customer focused with strong desire to help people 
  • Self-starter and team player
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently 
  • Incredible attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to write articulate and warm emails
  • Ability to participate thoughtfully during team alignment meetings and provide feedback on process improvements

Commitment: This is a 4-month contract.
