Job Description

HireArt is looking to hire an HR Generalist to work on-site at Common Network’s San Francisco office on an ongoing contract basis. In this role, you’ll work closely with senior HR management and cover areas of benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, and employment law compliance.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain the employee handbook.
  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
  • Administer the compensation program and perform benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees.
  • Conduct new-employee orientation and exit interviews.
  • Maintain human resource information system records and compile reports from the database.
  • Assist in evaluation of reports and results of department in relation to established goals. 
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to  continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in the HR field
  • Strong communication and consultation abilities
  • Ethical practice, and global and cultural awareness
  • Skilled in relationship management
  • HR knowledge and expertise
  • A Master's degree in HR Management is a plus

Commitment: This is a full-time (40 hours per week) ongoing contract position based in San Francisco, CA.
